Patrick Dalbray, an MP and mayor of a large provencial town and Mathieu Villiers, the local chief inspector, are old school friends. Emma Lambert and Karine Blanchard met when they were students at Sciences Po. Emma is a journalist at the local daily newspaper, « Le grand régional ». Karine is Patrick Dalbray’s parliamentary assistant. One day, Karine Blanchard is killed in a hit-and-run road accident. Emma decided to investigate herself. But what she finds out will change all of their lives…
